Hudson Dusker’s name was inspired by the Hudson Dusters, the notorious 1890s gang in New York’s West Village formed by Circular Jack, Kid Yorke, and Goo Goo Knox. It reflects where we live.

The Bicycle Film Festival is in NYC May 28 - June 1 2008. This is an ad that will run in Momentum Magazine that I designed.
On February 10th I went on a memorial ride for Sheldon Brown from Prospect Park to Coney Island. It was an incredible ride for an incredible man that was the essence of the online bicycle community…
nicks lunchbox service stamp, originally uploaded by ngolebiewski.
On Wednesdays now at work (The Guggenheim) I make a brown bag lunch for $5. It comes with a sandwich, fruit and tortilla chips.
It started out as a means of relaying awesome food from the farmers market to those I work with on the Upper East Side of NYC. So, the food is as local and organic as possible. This is now February, so the locally made food is down to the bread, usually from Amy’s Bread, and the carrots, horseradish, apples, etc. from the Union Square Farmer Market. The rest is from Manhattan Fruit Exchange in Chelsea Market. Also, Integral Yoga is a huge supplier of the ingredients for me.
The last few weeks have had honey oranges from Florida (yum) and home made bean spreads. I soaked the organic beans and then made hummus and a black bean spread.
Oh yeah, there is also a rubber stamp for the bag which reads, “Nick’s Lunchbox Service”, which has to be the best part of the whole lunch.
